Overview

About this grade

Heavy melting steel (HMS) is recovered from demolition, industrial dismantling and end-of-life structures, then cut and prepared so it charges cleanly into the furnace.

We supply HMS 1, HMS 2 and blended ratios such as 80:20 to mills that need dependable melt yield, with every lot checked against the agreed specification before loading.
